Xbox 360 Elite Available in April for $479.99

Microsoft has announced the availability of Xbox 360 Elite, a new version of its video game console expected to hit stores at the end of April. The sleek new version of the Xbox 360 featuring a 120GB hard disk drive, a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cable, and a premium black finish for the console, wireless controller, and Xbox Live headset.

The Xbox 360 Elite will sell for $479.99. Consumers who already own the $399.99 20-gigabyte model will be able to buy a snap-on 120-gigabyte hard drive for $179.99. Both the new console and the drive are expected to hit U.S. shelves April 29.
