LG Flat TVs features Buit-in DVR and Full HD screens
LG plans to place its 2 megapixel HDTVs with built-in digital video recorders (DVR) at the center of its marketing strategy for flat panel TVs. These TVs are equipped with 250 GB hard disks, automatically record two hours of video for instant playback, and can store a maximum of 92 hours of video.

TVs with built-in DVRs enable users to record the live programs and watch them again – in part or in whole. Sports fans can create their own instant replays during live games, and movie buffs can pause movies on TV to make more popcorn.

These LG TVs have the ability to display 5.4 trillion colors and a 6000:1 contrast ratio, creating exceptionally natural-looking images. The 6ms response time reduces motion blur in action movies or sports.

Full HDTVs offer a great value with twice the resolution of normal HDTVs and only a 10% price premium. The company introduced its first 1 megapixel HDTV, a 64-inch projection model, in 1999.Tags:
